Presenter: Dean Hale, CASAC, Certified Recovery Coach

Mr. Hale has worked in several modalities of treatment planning including a hospital detox unit, an intensive residential program, and a halfway house.  Dean is currently the Director of Residential Services for a treatment provider in Hudson, NY.  Dean is part of the Columbia County Drug Court Team and has an extensive background working with the mandated population.   Both his personal and professional experience allows him to bring a unique perspective and insight to the treatment and recovery process.

The Capital Region is facing an opioid crisis. This full-day training on opioid addiction will help attendees understand this epidemic and delve further into the issues of prescription pain killers and heroin.   Mr. Hale is a professional trainer and counselor with over twenty years of experience in the addiction field.  He will discuss the opioid epidemic, the transition into heroin addiction, as well as other prescription drugs.  The training will also address medical assisted therapies including Suboxone and Methadone.
