Our Stories Have Power – The Language We Use is CRITICAL

July 30, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The language we use when we talk about Addiction and Recovery is critical to how our message is received by people who do not have personal experience with Addiction and Addiction Recovery.

This is an informal language awareness interactive session where we will explore the power of our stories and particularly the language we use.  We will look at how our stories are received and how different words convey very different meaning to those we want to communicate with about the importance of Recovery Services and the impact that Recovery makes in the lives of people in recovery and our families.

This session is no cost and open to all!

You do not have to register to attend, but it would be helpful to know how many people we might expect. Learn more: http://raisaratoga.org/event-2001655
