The Facts on Parenting in America

Parenting today’s teens and pre-teens presents a number of specific challenges. All parents need a little advice now and then. Learn more and explore various ways of dealing with difficult behavior and practice specific strategies that address a variety of teen problems.  Plus, find out where you can turn for help and support.

The facts:

  • 81% of parents of online teens say they are concerned about how much information advertisers can learn about their child’s online behavior, with some 46% being “very” concerned (PEW Research Center).
  • 8 in 10 parents fear their children will be involved in a wreck as a result of distracted driving (Aviva).
  • Nearly one in four parents, or 22%, reports being concerned about a child’s mental health
